Age limits are set by the VEX IQ Level Up game manual (anchored to VEX Worlds 2027) and change each season. This tool is guidance only — VEX Robotics' manual is the official source.
How the levels work
- Elementary School — younger students within the age limit. They may also "play up" and compete as Middle School students.
- Middle School — eligible students who are past the Elementary School age cutoff.
- Not eligible by age — students older than the season's limit. Eligibility may still be granted for a disability that delayed education by at least one year — confirm with VEX Robotics.
The exact cutoff dates come from the VEX IQ game manual and shift each season, so always treat the manual as the official source.
