Your job: help teams get to their match on time. You guide teams from the pits to the field so matches stay on schedule. Matches cannot start without teams — you control the rhythm of the event.
Match flow
- Listen to the match schedule and announcer.
- Call the next teams to queue.
- Verify they're ready.
- Escort them to the correct field.
- Release them to the referee when instructed — and only send teams when the field is ready.
Your mission, every match
Get the correct teams to the correct field at the correct time. Check:
- Right team numbers, right match number
- Robot and controller in hand
- They stay with you
- Students only — no parents or coaches to the field
- Ready to compete
Keep waiting teams organized and together. If a team is missing, notify the Head Queuer.

Confident, friendly directions work best — project your voice, don't yell:
"Teams for Match 14, please come with me."
"Drivers only beyond this point."
"You're up next — please power on your robot."
The rules

Be awesome at it
Always be preparing the next match: watch the field status constantly, keep the queue line short but ready, position teams in match order, and alert referees early if a team is missing. Good queuing prevents delays before they happen.
When problems happen
Missing team → Head Queuer. Robot trouble → let the team step aside and tell the Head Queuer. Wrong teams → fix it before they enter the field. Disagreements → referee or Event Partner. Never resolve rule disputes yourself.
Final rule: referees control the match — you control the flow. When unsure, escalate; don't guess.
