If a full competition season feels like a big first step, camps are the small one: a focused burst of building, programming, and driving robots — no season commitment, no team required, just a week of finding out whether your kid lights up around this stuff. (Spoiler: they usually do.)
What a camp is like
Kids work hands-on with VEX IQ kits — building, coding, and driving — with plenty of time on a real game field. Camps are grouped by age so a kindergartner and an 8th grader each get a session that fits. Many of our campers become the season's new team members; camp is where a lot of Nebraska VEX IQ stories start.
When and where
Camps run in the summer, announced in spring. Everything we offer appears on our events calendar and the blog — each camp's listing carries its dates, ages, location, and how to sign up.
Cost
Camp fees vary by session and are listed with each camp. Same promise as everything else we run: if cost is the obstacle, email us — keeping STEAM accessible is the mission, and we'd rather solve it with you than have a kid miss out.
