Nebraska V5RC Season Kickoff at UNO
The University of Nebraska Omaha's VEX U Robotics Team is hosting the first regular-season High School VEX V5 Tournament of the year — kicking off the 2025-26 Nebraska V5RC season!
While the UNO VEX Team is leading the charge, gainingSTEAM is proud to provide support behind the scenes. Brandon Petersen is serving as Judge Advisor, and gainingSTEAM facilitated the wireless networking setup to ensure reliable connectivity for all event devices.
Making It Happen
The University of Omaha VEX U team led all tournament operations and logistics. Brandon Petersen from gainingSTEAM contributed in two key ways:
- Judge Advisor Leadership - Overseeing the judging process, training volunteer judges, managing team interviews, and ensuring fair awards deliberation
- Technical Support - Facilitating the wireless networking setup to ensure reliable connectivity for all event devices
