Pre-Training Preparation
Before attending, we recommend visiting the official VEX IQ Referee Training & Certification Course and completing the first two short lessons:
- The REC Foundation and VEX Robotics
- The Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy
This will help you get set up and save time during the session.
Why Attend?
This training is offered to support volunteers in completing the official Referee Certification process and to prepare anyone planning to serve as a Referee or Head Referee this season. Certified Head Referees are required for all qualifying events, and these sessions will build consistency, confidence, and readiness heading into the Mix & Match tournaments.
Please feel free to share this information with any potential volunteers who may be interested. We hope to see many of you at one of the upcoming training sessions!
